Getting Your Articles Ranked on Page One of Google

by Kenneth Adams

It is actually a very simple process to get your articles listed on page one of Google. Needless to say this can explode your traffic to your blog or fan page which will significantly increase your income.
So let's look at the process. First you want to find specific keywords within your niche where there is not much competition. So let's take an example of finding a keyword that you have a good chance of getting ranked highly on Google.
First off you will need the Google keyword tool.Once there click
on Google keyword tool. So let's say you want to go after Internet Marketing. Place those words into the keyword tool and you will find millions of searches per month. This of course is not going to work as there is way to much competition. Let's make sure.
Go to Google.com and place Internet Marketing into the search bar. Now hold on because you need to place quotation marks around your keyword such as "Internet Marketing". Remember we are going
after those specific words and if you don't place your keyword into quotation marks Google will show the competition for various combinations of that keyword.
So when we do that we come out with 36 million other websites that have those specific keywords on their website or blog, forget it.
As you go down in the Google keyword tool you will see other suggestions from Google which also show the amount of monthly searches. We are looking for total searches of 5,000 - 30,000 monthly.
Trust me if you get ranked on page one of Google with your article with this many searches you will have a lot of traffic.
As we go down the list we see a keyword that is really interesting. Business Internet Marketing. We see over 30,000 broad searches and over 8,000 within the phrase. Let's head over to the Google search bar
and see if we have a shot at this. So we see there is a bit over 600,000 in competition for this keyword. In reality take about a third of that and you have a true number.
Here is the really interesting part. There is very little authority in competition for this keyword. The second listing is ranked over 600,000 in the world and over 300,000 in the United States which I can do in my sleep. Bottom line is when you take a look at your competition and you see very few authority sites you probably have a good chance to get ranked on page one.
The numbers I like to stick to are between 4,000 - 20,000 searches with 10,000 - 100,000 in competition. With that said look at the competition because this is a great example of a keyword that
has virtually none. Now you have the keyword that you want to get ranked on page one, now what.
Write an article of between 250-300 words. Be sure you have:
• You keyword in the title
• The keyword in the first sentence of your article
• List your keyword 3-5 times within your article, no more no less
• Spam the LSI words all you want as this will show relevancy to Google
What is an LSI word?
Let's head back to the Google Keyword tool. Place your keyword in the tool. Now look at the next 5-6
words below your keyword, those are LSI words and they are one of the main keys to your ranking.
Under business internet marketing we see advertising business internet marketing. Yes you want to use this somewhere within your article. You may want to take two or three LSI and place them into your article.
One final point. Internet marketing is within each LSI word which makes Internet marketing a keyword as well. Don't overdue it with this but place it within your article a few times as well.
Articles are not difficult to create. Once you have the above system down it takes a total of 10 minutes to find a keyword that will create hundreds of leads for you through article marketing.
